Windows 8 Multitouch - What Type of Special Monitor is Required RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am in the process of upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8 simply because I have a PC game that I wrote in Visual Studio10, C Sharp, and I must convert it to a 'multitouch' capability.  The Windows 8 instructions are plain:  'To use touch you need a tablet or a monitor that supports touchscreen'.

If I go to Best Buy or the Windows Store, what sort of PC monitor do I ask for to KNOW that it supports 'touchscreen'.

Question #2:  Who can tell me what the pixel width and pixel length of the proposed MSSurface tablet is?  I need these dimensions to ensure that my game will fit onto the Surface screen.

Denver, CO I am unable to create a screen icon using the dll 'Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary.dll' in the 2010 C# compiler but the same code works perfectly in the 2008 C# compiler. What is wrong?
