[Add-In] FileCodeModel is not constructed just after creating a ProjectItem on .NET Core based Project. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello. I'd like to ask about one issue while using FileCodeModel.

I made a net core console project using Solution2.GetProjectTemplate("ConsoleApplication.zip", "CSharp"). With the Project, I also added a c# code file using Solution2.GetProjectItemTemplate("CodeFile", "CSharp"); However, the problem is ...  I cannot get FileCodeModel from the ProjectItem. it is always null.  This issue does not happen when I made a Project based on .net framework console project. Also, I found the fact that I could get the FileCodeModel instance when I forcefully triggered a messagebox.

do you know why the issue occurs only for .net core console app. ?
