excel / resx file >> expert advice need for an automatization script /

Do you guys have an idea?

I've an excel files with orginal datas in english and the traduction in another language juste beside and I've my xml resx file with my id of the ressource, and my translation column.

The only link between them is the text which is the same in english. like:

excel

a1 = "my text"  b1 = "mon text"

my resx file is a copy of the english one so something like

col1 = label1   col2= "<h2>my text</h2>" 

I need to change this as resource.fr.resx >> col1 = label1   col2= "<h2>mon text</h2>"

Do you guys have an idea how can I automatize that ? which language should I use... vbscript?

what do you reckon ??

.resx is a XML file so you can read ResXResourceReader/ResXResourceWriter classes to read/update value in .resx file.

Here is the steps

1) read row one by one from excel

2) check that resourcekey in french resource file.  if exists, update that value from excel sheet.  if not found add that key in french resource file along with value from excel sheet.
