  • If you want to do it manually you can RK on job in sql server agent and can go to view history and see it status.

    For automating this task such that if job finishes you should be automatically notified .Create/ enable  Database mail feature ,create profile and send mail after successful creation to end user.See this link ..

    In your case ,as Shanky post ,we can create a job ,define Notifications as E-mail or other perform to notification us when the job succeeds .

    SQL Server Agent store the history of job execution in system tables in msdb database .We can use  T-sql  to query get the detail information about the successful execution of the SQL Server Agent job .And the information can also be found in the job History/Log File Viewer windows in SQL Server Management Studio .
