Creating a hyperlink to link from Reporting Services to Project Server 2007. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi:

I am using project server 2007 and using sql seerver 2005 and reporting services 2005.  The reports are being hosted by Sharepoint 2007.  It is using the integration mode.

Our project manager would like a way to link the report  from reporting server to the project client.  I have created a hyperlink http:// to pass the  parameter directly to reporting services.  It works perfectly on the browser.

I went into project client to insert the hyperlink.  It gave an error Cannot Download the information that you requested.   Is there something that I need to set on the client side or it is not possible to do that in project client 2007?

    Thanks,

    kkmick

I just figured it out.   You can only doing this in the notes fields in project client.

    thanks for responding.

  • Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do on the client side and where you are doing it?

Are you trying to paste this link into a custom field?
