Azure metadata import issue with oracle fusion erp 19c RRS feed

  • While configuring Azure Ad as the Idp and oracle fusion ERP as the SP.

    we are getting the below error. Help would be appreciated.

    You must enter valid identity provider metadata. Ensure the metadata conforms to the SAML version 2.0 or higher standard.: schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document You must enter valid identity provider metadata. Ensure the metadata conforms to the SAML version 2.0 or higher standard.: schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/v2.0/saml-schema-metadata-2.0.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not <xsd:schema>., because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not <xsd:schema>.

    I am assuming you are fetting this error when you try to import the downloaded metadata file.

     Azure AD metadata conforms to SAML 2.0 standards and should not have an issue with syntax. You can validate this using online XML tools before exporting to the SP. 

    Ensure that they are using the exact file while configuring on the SP.

    Note: You can also read the metadata and configure the required information manually on the SP.
