  • Who is greener? statistics shows that Linux is greener since it has lower cpu usage in idle mode comparing to microsft windows server. Now the question is that: is this the right way f comparison to decide which of OSs are greener? and if yer, then what is MS strategy for green movemenet, like reducing carbon etc.

  • im quite sure my old dragon 64 computer with its whopping .89 MHz 6809E CPU uses less power, emits less heat, and requires less energy to build one , but sadly it does not mean i would recommend it for contemporary IT solutions.
