EWS Managed API - created contacts causes outlook problems RRS feed

  • Hello,

    we have written an synchronisation tool for our software which synchronizes contacts and appointments with exchange.

    Now we found a problem with contacts which we have created via EWS MA.
    If we create a Contact with the e-mail adress john.doe@acme.com and the name "John Doe" is it not possible for outlook to resolve the name into the e-mail address.

    If we now going to write a Mail to "Doe" -> Press CTRL+K, Outlook shows the following.



    If we now open the contact via outlook an save it, everything will be all right.
    So I think there is a field I have to fill but i really do not know which field this can be.

    We need to fill the Field "Subject"

    The EWSEditor was the perfect tool to inspect all properties!
