My site works when I run it in VS, but when I publish it, I continue to get a message indicating that the user name or password that im using in my login is invalid.

I made sure that I created the user info in asp configurations.  What is going on?  someone please help.

It's been my experience that it's almost always a problem with the connection string...  Without seeing any code, that's the best advice I can offer.

8 times out of ten, the web.config connection string is now longer valid and not changed.  1 out of ten, the user id used to connect to the database does not have the rights or is different on the new machine. The other one time is anything else.
