Books on lightswitch for generating odata RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to work out whether to use Lightswitch to create odata web services for access by an android phone and was wondering if there are any good books that cover this area.  All the books I see on amazon relating to lightswitch don't seem to mention the generation of odata web services?

    Any thoughts most welcome.

    thanks

  • Hi

There are many blog post in LightSwitch team blog describing about how to create and consume Odata service in Lightswitch. Here is one example demonstrated by Matt Sampson (MSFT).

Also for more tips and tricks on Odata you must see this blog (Owned By Michael Washington).

As By default Odata feature is available in LightSwitch in VS 2011 Beta and also its in a beta release, So still there are no such kind of books has been released to cover this area.
