Simple DDD question RRS feed

  • I read the book "DDD Quickly" which is a summary of Eric Evans book.

I downloaded code examples, like DDDSample and NLayerAppv2, so I'm a bit new.

This question is pretty simple. I have an Entity, let's say Person, and a ValueObject State. Person has a property State, right. I have a IPersonRepository, but don't have IStateRepository because State is not a Entity. State only exists Person context, not on its own.

Now I have to instanciate a Person object. Person's constructor has a parameter State, but how can I get the state to pass to the constructor if I do not have an IStateRepository?

    Should I create IStateRepository?
