BizSpark base license issue RRS feed

  • Our startup is a BizSpark member (based in Jaipur, India). Today we were visited by KPMG on behalf of Microsoft.

    They told us that we are not using Windows and software legally. According to them, for BizSpark base licenses are required to be pre-purchased and what we get in MSDN Subscription are only for upgrades.

    We have 8 PCs running windows in our firm. All have BizSaprk Office in all. And Visual Studio Community Edition in two of them.

    I want to know is this correct and what will be consequences after the audit?
