  • Question

  • I have an HP with an AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3 Ghz processor. It runs Vista Home Premium 32 bits, updates include Service Pack 2.

I have been having trouble with BSoDs for months. I reformatted the hard drive in June 2009 and again in December 2009. I have checked to make sure all my drivers are updated and I have uninstalled my webcam. I have done startup repair and dskchck and they don’t show any problem. Nevertheless, the blue screens continue.

I have BlueScreenView. Here is the info on all 6 crashes since I reformatted the drive:

It happens more and more often. I am ready to buy a new computer, but who has the money in this economy!?!?!?!

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Thanks for the idea! I actually took the comupter to a repair shop and they also couldn't figure out the problem exactly, but thought the motherboard itself might need replacing. So we replaced it several days ago and so far it's working ok, no crashes at all. We'll see if this solves it.
