Could Metro App open a folder by using explorer.exe

    Question

  • Uri^ uri = ref new Uri(ref new String(L"ms-appdata:///local/"));
    Windows::System::Launcher::LaunchUriAsync(uri);

    These code cannot open a folder.

    If anyone knows it would be helpful.

    Thanks! :)

  • Metro apps do not file system access by default. If you want access to a file, you can use the FilePicker to have the user select a file and process it. Could you explain the scenario?
