VersionBuild does not get updated

I'm using VS 2005 to create SSIS packages for SQL Server 2005. I noticed that the VersionBuild parameter for my package does not get updated every time I build. Isn't it supposed to?

Only if you had introduced changes to the package since the last build it gets updated.
