URL for directly accesing container files using new portal

    Question

  • Hi Team,

I have a storage account which has 60 containers ,I am looking out for a URL in which "if azure session in browser is active it should not ask for authentication ,if session is not there it should ask for authentication and which takes me directly till listing down of blobs,

We can achieve the same Using classic portal with following link:  https://manage.windowsazure.com/mydomain.onmicrosoft.com#Workspaces/StorageExtension/StorageAccount/mystorage/Container/mycontainer/Blobs

I am looking for the same type or URL for New Portal as well but i am only able to make till listing of containers with following URL:

    https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Storage/ContainersBlade/storageAccountId/%2Fsubscriptions%2XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX%2FresourceGroups%2FDefault-Storage-WestEurope%2Fproviders%2FMicrosoft.ClassicStorage%2FstorageAccounts%2Fmystorage

Help me with the link which can take me till blobs insted of containers as i am having more containers in the storage account

  • Hi Ashok,

    Does the following help?

    https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Storage/ContainersBlade/storageAccountId/%2Fsubscriptions%****************************%2FresourceGroups%2FMyTestRG%2Fproviders%2FMicrosoft.Storage%2FstorageAccounts%2FMyStorageAccountName

I was able to use the link and list out the Blobs in my storage account.

You could check if there's a difference when you use the new portal to access ARM storage vs Classic storage.

    Regards,
    Malar.
