It will depend on the hosting service. They will have instructions. Currently godaddy only supports Asp core via a hosted VM. As you build the vm, you control the deploy.

As I know that Godaddy doesn't support .net core. You must hosting provider that support .net core, I would recommend you to check Asphostportal, they have support latest .net core on their server.
