  • Same here.  Desktop API documentation is not loading in Chrome, while others still open just fine.  The same pages open OK in IE, and they used to open OK in Chrome.  What's up!!???

  • By process of elimination I found the extension HTTPS Everywhere was causing the issue.  I discovered this by going into incognito mode ( Ctrl + Shift + n ) which disables extensions unless they are specifically enabled for it.

  • This is pretty old but I've started getting a the same problem recently with Chrome v41. Turned out it was because of Adblock Plus which blocked 4 apparent ads. Whitelisted msdn.microsoft.com and everything worked again.

  • Clicking the Adblock extension, and "disable for this site", fixed this for me. Thanks kjbartel
