The query could not be found.

Hello,
When I open one workbook an Excel message says "the query 'resource list' could not be found".Once the workbook is opened I still can see the connection properties in the connection list but there is no way to edit the query with data explorer.
What happend ? How can I recovered the mention query ?
Maybe, in anyway, we can still do something with this connection definition ?
thanks for any help
Stéphane

Hi Stephane,
This is a known limitation in Data Explorer today. You can't rename the Excel sheet table or otherwise the connection will be broken.
We will enable this (and also provide a better default name, based on the query name) in future releases of Data Explorer.
Thanks,

I found something : it sounds like you should never rename the underlying Excel table ...
otherwise you'll have this error message from data explorer
And if you save and close your workbook you'll never be able to edit or run the query anymore
is it a bug ?

Hi Stephane,
Thanks for providing feedback.
Could you please share the version of Data Explorer you are using? It is available through the 'About' button on the ribbon.
