PointBasedClustering viewchangeend event is not fired in Firefox an IE. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using PointBasedClustering. Sometimes the "viewchangeend" event was not fired in Firefox and IE. It seldom happens in Chrome.

If the "viewchangeend" event was not fired, "_tileZoomRatio" was not initialized properly and all pins were clustered in one.

    Anybody faces the same issue?

  • I haven't seen this issue before, nor have I heard of anyone having this issue. The server OS can have a big effect on this as the browsers, although have the same name are significantly different. For instance Bing Maps supports Safari on Mac's but not on PC's as there is a big difference between the two versions of the browser.

  • Oh, one more thing, when I test the application on my local, windows OS, it seldom happens.

When I deploy my application to UNIX server, it often happens in Firefox and IE, although I doubt the server os difference can cause this problem...
