Push notification telemetry says 'NoTargetFound' but I see a device in the notification hub RRS feed

  • Question

  • None of my notifications seem to be getting sent, because no target has been found. I use the method 'SendTemplateNotificationAsync' and I pass in the tags I find for the user. I put in the notification id to push notification telemetry and it says 'NoTargetFound', but I check the device registrations in the notification hub and when I put in one of the tags a result is there. Why is it saying 'NoTargetFound' then?

  • Can you send your namespace name to nhubsupport@microsoft.com?

  • Do you create native or template registrations for your devices? SendTemplateNotificationAsync method works only for template registrations. You can read more about template registrations here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/notification-hubs/notification-hubs-templates-cross-platform-push-messages

I use template registrations. I've been using them for months and it was working before. Now it's not working, for some Android devices and what might be all iOS devices. Nothing has changed other than it's not working anymore.
