Can I modify VBSoftKeyboard Sourcecode? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I'm Using VB.NET 2010.

I found the source code for virtual keyboard.
    see the below link.
    https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/VBSoftKeyboard-161d92d7

This source is subject to the Microsoft Public License.
    See http://www.microsoft.com/opensource/licenses.mspx#Ms-PL.

I would like to modify the sourcecode and design as per my requirements?
shall I have a permission to modify the source or any license issue occur?

Please guide me in the right direction.

    Thanks a lot,
    Thenndral

  • You don't need to  as you are granted the right to use, modify and redistribute ... but you cannot patent your code if you are using this source code. By using this code you must also grant any party to who you give or sell the code the right to use it, modify it and redistribute it and this free of charge
