  • If the TestApp is failing then there is a setup problem with the OPOS driver. I think the COM port path should be setup with the ADK. I would contact EPSON for clarification.

    You could try POSDM to set the path or try my SOManager - http://www.seanliming.com/POSforNET.html, but these are typically used for Service Objects and not OPOS drivers.

  • Do you have the service object or OPOS driver installed from EPSON? Are you able to access the POS printer using the POS for .NET SDK's TestApp.exe?

  • I have downloaded the drivers from EPSON and I am showing several, probably all of their models, of their printers and other devices.  I have installed their entire ADK.  As for the Test App, it provides the same error.  

    I have also noticed that the printer is not being assigned a COM Port, it should have a COM port, correct?
