switch between the full screen and snapview,UI displays error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,You know I use the win8.1 update2,so I can click the minimize button. But when I resume my app and click to allow the backgroud task permission,I wonder wheather a snapshot or screenshot has auto happened. Then I switch my app between the full screen and snapview, the background task permission which I have allowed shows again and quickly disappears.

I wonder wheather metro apps will take a snapshot or screenshot before suspend. When apps resume to allowed some permission, maybe the bug will always happen.

So,I hope who can give me a answer for the UI bug of my app. If the bug really exists for all metro apps,is there some interface for us to get the snapshot.

  • I'm not sure what you mean here. Can you please explain in more detail? Perhaps you could share on your OneDrive a minimal sample demonstrating the problem.

Windows will keep a thumbnail of the app so the user can see what apps are running, but that thumbnail isn't available to the app itself.

  • Thanks for your answer, this bug has been put aside.

If you are still intersted of it, here the details:

    1.Install the APP
2.when the first run,it will popup message box about 'location permission'(click YES/NO), 'webcam permission'(click YES/NO), then stay at the 'background run permission' message box.
3.Switch to snapview, then minimize APP
4.Get back the APP in snapview
5.Click YES on 'background run permission' message box.
6.Switch APP between full screen mode and snap mode.

The "background run permission" message box will flash.
