Getting error in my media player application

    Question

  • I am getting the error: "Call to UIASendMessageTimeout failed" in my media player app. It does not always happen at the exact same time so I am having trouble narrowing it down. In my app I have a Slider and a MediaElement bound to each other by way of a View Model and this error is thrown sometimes when I am moving around the playhead or just during playback. It does not happen consistently. Any tips for how I could track it down?

  • This is likely a known issue that has been fixed for RTM. The wrong error message "Call to UIASendMessageTimeout failed" is raised but the actual exception type is ArgumentException.

    I hope this helps,

  • Hey thanks so much! I'll make sure to check it out when the RTM is released.
