Silverlight based custom project type in vs 2010 isolated shell RRS feed

  • Hi All,

           I want to create silverlight based custom project type. Ironpython sample is providing custom project type based on wpfapplication. but in the same way i want my custom project type that support silverlight. my xaml editor should provide silverlight controls in the toolbox. can any one please help on this?

  • Hi Remesh,

    If you have installed Sliverlight SDK, you will find there are two the registry key contains TemplateGroupIDs which value is Silverlight under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Projects\. If so, if you want your custom project type supports silverlight, you can use modify<TemplateGroupIDs> element with Silverlight instead of WPF in pyWPFApplication.vstemplate file in Ironpython sample.
