Hello,
I'm very new to ASP.NET. I'm currently working through Microsoft Press's "ASP.NET 3.5 Step by Step", and expect to get through it in a month or so.
At that point, I would like to do a design project to go through a life-cycle for a project (ie, specify requirements, design, implement, test). For this project, I want to build a reasonably-sized project (ie, not something
massive but not trivial).
So, I'm hoping there are books out there that take beginner ASP.NET developers (ie, those with a basic knowledge of the technical aspects of controls, themes, etc) through the life cylce of a "real" project. In other words, not just
another book with small examples of this or that feature.
I would envision that the project(s) in these book(s) would deal with n-tier (MVC?) considerations, simple db design (I'm pretty strong with SQL but not a db designer by any means), etc. That is, a "real" website.
Any suggestions?
