one IIS - one SP webapp, one IIS website - no need to login twice with credentials

Question

Hi,

I have two IIS websites on one IIS

• IIS website with windows authentication
• IIS website with Sharepoint 2010 using windows authentication

The user can login to both websites with the same user credentials. Thats good, but I want the user to not have to pass his credentials twice. How can I ensure that as soon as the user has logged into one of the websites that the other website already "knows" him ?

Or a simpler way is to just have both web apps addresses as trusted via group policy so they'll both get pass through auth :)

these two sites are avaible via internet, so I doubt that this SSO service or group-policies will work :(
