  • Not directly with Small Basic, but you can add/modify an icon resource to any existing exe with the free utility 'XN Resource Editor' (google it).

    Note that any time SmallBasic recompiles it creates a new exe which overwrites the previous and you would need to re-add the icon resource.

    With XN Resource Editor, you need to open the exe, import an image resource (Import->Import Image Resource) that is an icon (*.ico), then save the modified file.

  • Googled & got it..

    Nice and works right out of the box..

    The interface is a little deceiving though cause after loading a program to edit, it doesn't show much on screen ( blank white, just like it looked before you loaded a program to edit).

    But it does show the programs name on the titlebar.

    Then when you Click > "resource" > "add resource" > "icon group" > "Language Neutral" > "32x32 16 Color" > "OK" it opens the built-in icon editor.

    your ready to edit..

    Click "resource" > "Import image resource" to load a graphic file.
