Overlap the skeletal joints on the depth image RRS feed

  • I'm new with C# and I wonder how can I overlap the skeletal joints on the depth image?

  • Have you looked at SkeletonEngine.SkeletonToDepthImage method? Basically, if you have a vector in skeletal space coordinates (such as those obtained in SkeletonData.Joints field), you can convert it to depth pixel coordinates as follows:

    Microsoft.Research.Kinect.Nui.Vector jointPos = new Microsoft.Research.Kinect.Nui.Vector();
    jointPos.X = 0.0f;
    jointPos.Y = 0.5f;
    jointPos.Z = 1.0f;
    float depthX, depthY;
    short depthValue;
    nui.SkeletonEngine.SkeletonToDepthImage(jointPos, out depthX, out depthY, out depthValue);

    Does that make sense?
