  • Hi,
        You cant append in this way. You can use either use custom pipeline component or Dynamic send port, both methods are more or less same.

  • Probably the easiest way to do what you are wanting is to use an orchestration. In a message assignment shape you would put the following code:

    outputMsg(File.RecievedFileName)=inputMsg(BTS.MessageId)+TSCode+".xml";

    You would put TSCode as a variable in the orchestration, and in the send port, you simply put the Macro as %ReceivedFileName%

  • Hi Guys,
    Even i have a similar type of requirement. I need to take the file name from  xml message and append that to a outgoing file name. I have to acheive this with out using orchestration. Is this possible using Custom Pipeline Component.

  • I'm trying to do the same thing, but using and EDI_Adapter,not FILE adapter.

  • It is not possible using the EDI adapter, what you can do is use the EDI ASM and use the file adapter.
