How can I use multiple sound devices

    Question

  • I would like to create a psuedo DJ app where if I have a second sound device (USB Audio device for example) attached, I could preview sound out of one device, while the other device is playing audio.  I'm new to Windows 8 apps, but haven't seen a way to access specific audio devices for simple playback.  I'd want the main device (which could be user selected) to play in the background, but the "queued" device only needs to be able to playback while active.  Can anyone point me to an example, or help explain what I would need to do?

  • Hi Jesse,

Take a look at this: How to select an audio output device. I think this might be what you need.
