Software installation on the D: partition RRS feed

  • Question

  • I work for a Medical park and am looking into the possibility of partitioning our laptops and locking down the C: drives but allowing traveling doctors to install job related software on the D: partition.  For security and policy purposes I do not want them to have the ability to uninstall anything.

This will force compliance with policy and hopefully deter them for installing anything harmful.

I'm in the process of evaluating Privilege Manager but could use some help on my first idea.
