Showing a KPI image between a tab on a form when all the form fields are completed. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

I want to use JavaScript and CSS/HTML to show a KPI on a tab from a SharePoint form when all fields under that tab are completed. I already set up the tabs.

  • Hi,

Seems you want to achieve a function like SUM/AVG, you could try to add function to monitor input textbox change and do calculate dynamically.

For monitor textbox change, you could use jQuery change() function, here is the detail for your reference.

    https://api.jquery.com/change/

If above doesn’t help, could you provide more details for your requirement.

    Best Regards,

    Lee

  • The above doesn't help me.

I have a form with 4 tabs. There are 6 fields under each tab. Once the fields are complete under each tab, I want a small green check mark on the top corner of each corresponding tab. This will help the user to know their application has been completed for each tab quickly. All must be done in JavaScript and CSS/HTML5, not JQuery.

  • Hi,<o:p></o:p>

You could set onchange for text box( or others) by JavaScript( all the operations supported by jQuery can be done by JavaScript).<o:p></o:p>

For the divs’ green tip, you could update the CSS dynamically by JavaScript also.<o:p></o:p>
