  • Hello cse2011,

My english is not native, so I have difficult sometimes with it. Can I ask you to explain more about what you mean with "vision analysis"? Maybe I can offer you a hand.

  • There is a sample that came with the Kinect for Windows Toolkit that shows how you can bridge between Kinect and Matlab, but if you want to integrate Kinect into Matlab, would require more work. The sample is assuming you are calling the Matlab SDK and not directly using their application.

If you want to use Kinect from within the application, then you may be best to ask the Matlab folks. This may require writing an extension if that is possible. There is a open source project, Kinect Common Bridge, that simplifies the Kinect SDK that might make it easier to use the Kinect SDK with a Matlab library.
