  • Question

  • Are filters available for WHCK2.1? I don't see any specific link in the way that QFE's and the Kit itself are..

  • Hi Thomas,

Filter for HCK2.1 is the same as HCK2.0

You can download the HCK filter form the original website

  • You can find the filters here.  These work with both WHCK 8 and 8.1.

For WHCK 8.1 Controller, the instructions should read as follows:

    1. Download HCKFilterUpdates.cab to your HCK Controller
    2. Open the downloaded HCKFilterUpdates.cab file
    3. Click and drag UpdateFilters.sql from the zip file to your desktop
    4. Click and drag the UpdateFilters.sql file from your desktop to the %Program Files (x86)%\Windows Kits\8.1\Hardware Certification Kit\Controller directory
    5. From that directory, run the UpdateFilters.exe command.
