What versions of Windows Mobile are supported by Windows 2012 server (Remote Desktop) RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are trying to connect Window mobile 6.1 to Windows 2012 server. It is not working and not sure if it is even supported. If it is how would we go about getting that to work?

  • We have a hand hend computer that uses Windows mobile 6.1 and RDP to connect to Windows server 2003 Terminal services just fine. The server is to be upgraded to 2012 and it seems that Terminal services has been replaced with Remote Desktop gateway. The windows mobile device does not want to connect. I am to understand that there was some security requirements that were implemented in server 2008R2. Those could be turned off/disabled in order to allow older clients to connect. I don't see that as an option with 2012. It could be that I am just having a hard time figuring out where to adjust these settings.
