Question about SQL Server Developer Edition Licence RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am planning to install SQL Server Developer Edition in my development environment.

Do I need just one server licence or I need a licence for each developer that connects to that server?

What is the approximate cost of the developer edition and its CALs?

    Thank you,

Answers

  • To the best of my knowledge, each developer needs a developer edition license. I.e., there's no CALs for DE. But to be certain I suggest you check using these URLs:
