Errors committing package to Windows Store

    Question

  • I tried to put a app into the Windows store. The app was created with the Embarcadero RAD Studio. After uploading I got the following error messages:

Überprüfungsfehler bei der Paketannahme: You need to accept the Centennial Early Adopter Program Addendum before you can submit this app.
Überprüfungsfehler bei der Paketannahme: You don't have permissions to specify the following namespaces in the appx manifest file of the package MoleXpert.appx: http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/foundation/windows10/restrictedcapabilities
Überprüfungsfehler bei der Paketannahme: Your developer account doesn’t have permission to submit apps convertedwith the Desktop Bridge at this time. https://aka.ms/desktopbridgeforwindowsstore

    I tried to solve them:

    - clicking on the link "Centennial Early Adopter Program Addendum" I came to a website just with a button "Back" on it. And, I could not find any agreement like "Centennial Early Adopter Program Addendum" to sign.

    - the link http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/foundation/windows10/restrictedcapabilities did not work. i do not know what I should do

    - and the last error, after using that link, I filled out the form but did not receive any answer. So, what's that? Shall I wait? Or did something go wrong and I should fill out the form once more?

    Please help.

    Hello Datinf,

    >For the first error, the Addendum should consist of a variety of terms and conditions as well as a table you need to fill out. Could you provide the link so that I can try reproducing your issue or communicate with Dev Center support directly to sign the Addendum?

    >For the second error, it seems your app accesses restricted capability, which must include the rescap namespace in the top of appxmanifest file when you declare the capability:

    xmlns:rescap="http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/foundation/windows10/restrictedcapabilities"

Moreover, since restricted capabilities' use is highly restricted, it requires approval for Store submission. You might submit a request here (please select submit an app using a restricted capability as category) for the capability before submitting your app. You need to include the capability and the reason for your request. Please provide all the info necessary in case your request will be denied. The process will take 5 business days or longer to respond so it's highly recommended to submit request in advance. Also, you can remove that capability declaration and namespace in your package manifest and re-generate your package if you don't need it actually.

For more information, please see Special and restricted capabilities.

    >As for your last question, you have followed the right path to request for the permission to publish your converted app, just wait for a Microsoft representative to contact you. The requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, which will take a period of time. Thanks for your patience.

If you want to check your case status, you might contact Dev Center support through your developer account. Please click "Submit an incident".

If it's helpful, could you please mark it as answer so that other community member can know how to deal with these problems easily?

If you have any other question, please feel free to update here. Thank you.

    Best regards,
