Problems publishing the application. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an light switch application with  an HTML client and a desktop client for the users administration. The application published on an 2008R2 windows server.

    When i 'm trying to access the htmlclient application from https://10.10.18.151/AppName/HTMLClient/ I ;m getting the following error

    <fieldset>

    401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

    You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

    </fieldset>

    When i 'm trying to access the https://10.10.18.151/AppName/administration/ =[the silver light client] for administrating the users  i 'm logging in the application successfully and if i open the HTML client application https://10.10.18.151/AppName/HTMLClient/ on another browser tab i can access the html application successfully.

    Thanks

    Nikos

    Stop your existing application and ensure that you don't have any additional IIS processes or instances of your local Web Server running. Restart your web server, and check whether it still has same issue.

    Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.
