How to delete diagnostic data from storage account? RRS feed

    Azure sdk 2.5 introduced breaking changes for diagnostic configuration, from now only xml based configuration supported.

    So I want to clean all diagnostic/monitoring data from my storage, before I try to deploy the new diagnostic configuration.

    I see the following data in my storage account, which one can be deleted safely? 

    Blobs: $logs, mam, mdsconfig, wad-control-container

    Tables: "Metric Tables" folder, WAD* tables

    Hi,

    As far as I know, these resource could be deleted, if you feel unsafe, I would suggest you use AzCopy to copy these resource to local, refer to http://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/documentation/articles/storage-use-azcopy/ for more information about the AzCopy.
