Setting Wrap Tab in plain text RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi again,

Opened the document I produced in Word (2007).  Tried to modify one of the questions by spacing the wrapped words over under the number, but couldn't.   I know that .TextPosition can be set for Lists - is there anything comparable at the Table or Document level?

    thanks

  • You’ll have to adjust the values for the indentation; with larger numbers, 0.25" is too small. Some trial and error may be required.

  • Looks like you need a hanging indent. In code you set that for a Paragraph or ParagraphFormat object. As an example, consider the following lines of code that sets a hanging indent of 0.25" for the first paragraph in the selection:

    Selection.Paragraphs(1).LeftIndent = _
    InchesToPoints(0.25)
    Selection.Paragraphs(1).FirstLineIndent = _
    InchesToPoints(-0.25)

I've been playing with this, on and off, most of the day - and it's close, but what I'm ending up with is:

    28. Really?  Did he _____ it very badly?

but I can't seem to get it to move over that 1 last character.
