How to delete the data in a column and apply formula? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Under column E, I wanted to retain the data in E7 and delete the other values from E8 onwards from column E, and copy  paste the formula applied for overdue days. Any ideas?

  • Double-click the fill handle in cell E7 (the little square in the lower right corner of the cell).

    If you want to use VBA (since you posted this in Excel for Developers):

    Range("E7").AutoFill Destination:=Range(Range("E7"), Range("D7").End(xlDown).Offset(0, 1))
