Azure CDN Traffic loads RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

This might sound trivial or even incredibly stupid but I wanted to know how many no of requests azure CDN can handle in a day. The requests are for 20 JSON data files that are very light in size (few KBs). The files are mostly static and are changed once in three weeks.

Our daily traffic is around 600,000 to 1,000,000 total page hits coming from across the globe. I was wondering if CDN would be able to efficiently serve the data for this traffic load.

Any help, pointers, documentation links will be very appreciated.

  • Hi,

I am sorry to say that there is no official article indicates the limitation for that.

However, according to this article, it seems that CDN is supported for more than 5120 TB Outbound Data Transfers and it guarantees that at least 99.9% of the time CDN will respond to client requests and deliver the requested content without error. I assume that CDN is supported for your environment.

    Best regards,

    Susie
