  • Hi Philippe lombaers,

As things stand, which way do you invoke the WCF service? Generate proxy classes by adding references, or using channel factory?

  • Hi Philippe lombaers,

If you have a WSDL address for the service, you can get definitions of the service and data contract. The data is then populated on the server side and the service is invoked. Note that the service contact and data contract between the server and client need to use the same namespace.

Feel free to let me know if the problem still exists.

  • Hi
Sorry about my ignorance. This data type appears to be an industry specification specifically defined for attachment types. I'm not sure how to call it in C# via the channel factory either. But it seems possible to construct HTTP requests.

Or how does the server build web services that can only be consumed by a particular client?
