Error 28002.Error unknown. RRS feed

  • Question

On running TFS Setup I'm getting the following error message

    Error 28002.Error unknown.

I have been following the walkthrough document detailing steps for installing team foundation server (single-server deployment).

Please could you tell me the cause of this?

    Thanks and regards,

  • Thanks for your post.

I've now found out that the tfssetup account I was using was not an active directory account unlike the two service accounts I was using.

I've corrected this and the installation has completed successfully!
