Problems with viewing in IE9 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey everyone,  first time posting, pretty new to html and EW4, so be patient :)

I am having trouble with my website when previewing in IE9.  It works perfectly with Chrome  and Mozilla.  But with IE9, whenever I start with, or navigate to, my index or main page my main logo doesn't show up, and all other links on my nav become dead.  Navigating from all other pages besides those two work fine.

Anyone have any suggestions.  I also don't know the protocol on how to show you specifically my problem, so if you could walk me through that if it's necessary that would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    JM

  • You could have done any number of things. But we can't tell without seeing the site in action.

Read the Forum FAQ (above), then come back and post a link to the site. Without that, we'd be trapped in a never-ending game of 20 Questions.

Step 1 - Read the Forum FAQs and Guidelines - Start Here, which explains how to use the forum, and also answers some common questions.

Step 2 - As noted in the first forum guideline, post a link to the published page, so that we can see the HTML, CSS, images, etc. in situ.

Please remember to "Mark as Answer" the responses that resolved your issue. It is common courtesy to recognize those who have helped you, and it also makes it easier for visitors to find the resolution later.

  • Publish your page/site to the web. Even if it isn't ready for public viewing you can put it in a section of your hosting in a folder like test, help, redesign or whatever you want to call it. Then post a link to the page displaying the problem. If it requires steps to trigger the problem such as using specific links, detail the steps.

When you have done that I expect someone or more than one someone here will be able to spot the problem.
