SUGGESTION for April Challenge : Co2 and emails ! April 22th the Earth Day RRS feed

  • Write a program that could quantify the number of Watts uses the writing, storage on different servers, and the delivery to the addressee of a simple e-mail?

    And according to this calculation, assuming that there are billions of emails a day that are exchanged, what would be the emission in the atmosphere, in grams of Co2, of a single email?

    And finally, do you, according to your program, emails sending per day all around the the world  would emit more Co2 in te atmosphere than automobile pollution?
