Cannot generate ApplicationID and AuthenticationToken for MapService RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

The issue I'm having is that I cannot obtain a applicationId and AuthenticationToken required by the map service.

More specific, I cannot complete the guide (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/jj207033.aspx) under the chapter "Adding the ApplicationID and AuthenticationToken".

When I want to submit my app in the "Submit page" (https://dev.windowsphone.com/en-us/AppSubmission/Hub) I cannot select the Optional selection "Map services".

Nothing happens when I click the image and the link seems "disabled" or "grayed out". Also tried to submit my app (Beta) and see if I could access the map service (to obtain my ApplicationId and AuthenticationToken) after it has been submitted but I cannot find any way of doing so.

Anyone has any suggestion how I should proceed?

  • Hi,

I'm having the same problem. When submitting an app the map services option is greyed out and I am unable to generate the application id and authentication token for my app. Puwee, have you made any progress on this?

    Thank,
    Brian.

  • Hello Puwwee,

Please try using another browser or if you are using Internet Explorer already, please set it to InPrivate browsing mode so we can make sure it is not a caching issue.

If the above do not resolve the issue please contact developer support so they can look into this issue.
