Customize or Change "Enter Network Password" pop-up window

Hi...

Anybody knows how to change, personalize or replace the annoying "Enter Network Password" pop-up window that shows up when requesting users to validate credentials against domain AD on windows authentication way?

I know it is a client side task at browser level, but I wonder if somebody found a way to pop-up a different one before that one shows up.

For all practical purposes, you cannot customize this.  I suppose it might have to do with allowing programs to hook into this process would violate the security of the credentials themselves.  Imagine if a rogue program collected the credentials entered into it.

If you need to customize the login, you will have to take the whole process yourself and use Forms Authentication with your own login.
